DESCRIPTION:
Savor the flavors of summer with our delightful Fresh Peaches and Oats Cobbler recipe! Indulge in the juicy sweetness of ripe peaches combined with wholesome oats for a healthy twist on a classic dessert.
INGREDIENTS:
4-5 fresh peaches, sliced 1/4” thick (you don’t want them overripe)
CRUMBLE:
1 1/2 cups gluten free rolled oats
1 large ripe banana
2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 Teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 Teaspoon vanilla powder
1 Tablespoon date syrup
1/2 cup chopped raw pecans
PREPARATION:
1-Preheat oven at 350 degrees F
2-Slice the peaches 1/4” thick, leaving the skin on.
3-In a medium bowl, mash the banana until there’s no lump.
4-To the banana mixture, add oats, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, pecans, date syrup and mix everything together until it’s all combined.
5-Place a layer of sliced peaches on the bottom of a 13×9 pan. Using your hand or a spoon, top the peaches with the oat crumble.
6-Now place another layer of fresh sliced peaches on top of the oats, and top the second layer of peaches with some more oats.
7-Bake in the oven for 35-40 minutes. Once done take out and let cool.
8-Enjoy it as is, or top with banana nice cream.
CHEF´S NOTE:
