Shayda’s Big Beautiful Salad

I often get asked about how I make my Big Beautiful Salads, so I’m going to share with you how I make it. It’s a healthy salad and a real crowd pleaser at your next get together. A large bed of chopped Romaine, kale, bell peppers, onion, zucchini, fresh strawberries and fresh herbs just to name a few of the ingredients. Add as much or as little of each vegetable as you desire.


1 large head of romaine, chopped
2 cups kale, chopped
1 orange bell pepper, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 medium red onion, sliced
2 cups red cabbage, sliced
2 cups cauliflower, chopped
1 zucchini, julienned
2 cups chopped tomatoes
2 cups chopped strawberries, grapes, blueberries or pomegranates
A handful of fresh herbs, parsley, cilantro and basil, chopped


Apple cider vinegar
Fresh lemon juice
Balsamic Vinegar
Black Cumin Seed


Place everything in a large bowl and toss with some apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar and Black cumin seed.
