DESCRIPTION:
This oil-free maple dressing is creamy, tangy, and naturally sweetened with maple syrup for the perfect balance of flavor. Made with simple whole-food plant based ingredients, it’s a healthy vegan dressing that’s perfect for salads, grain bowls, roasted vegetables, wraps and so much more.
INGREDIENTS:
1 (10.9 oz.) box of silken tofu
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar or white balsamic vinegar
2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
1-1 1/2 Teaspoons maple syrup, to taste
1/2 Teaspoon chickpea miso
1/4 Teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of onion powder
PREPARATION:
1-Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until silky smooth.
2-Taste and adjust, and add more lemon for brightness, or maple syrup for sweetness.
3-Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. The dressing will thicken slightly and develop a deeper flavor.
