DESCRIPTION:
Craving something bold and flavorful? These Smokey Cauliflower Bites are the perfect healthy alternative to wings or fried snacks. Made without oil, dairy or animal products, this recipe brings the smoky heat and savory crunch using only wholesome, plant based ingredients. Each bite is roasted to perfection, infused with smoky spices and finished with a touch of tang-perfect as a snack, appetizer or party favorite.
INGREDIENTS:
1 medium sized cauliflower, rinsed and cut into florets
1/4 cup tahini
2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari (for gluten free option)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon date syrup or maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley or Cilantro for garnish-optional
PREPARATION:
1-Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
2-Rinse and cut cauliflower into bite sized florets and place in a large bowl.
3-In a small bowl mix the rest of the ingredients except for the parsley or cilantro. Mix everything well.
4-pour the sauce over the cauliflower and mix well with a spoon or your hand, making sure the cauliflower is well coated.
5-Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet and spread the cauliflower on the parchment and bake for 45-50 minutes. Enjoy
