DESCRIPTION:
This Vega “No-Bee” Honey Mustard Dressing is a healthy, oil-free twist on the classic. Made with silken tofu, yellow mustard, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, and garlic powder, it delivers the perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors, without honey or refined ingredients.
INGREDIENTS:
1 (10.8 oz) box of silken tofu
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 Tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 Teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of turmeric (for golden color)
1/4 Teaspoon chickpea miso (optional)
3 Teaspoons water
PREPARATION:
1-Scoop the entire tofu block into a high speed blender.
2- Add the remaining ingredients, and blend until completely smooth and creamy.
3-Add water to reach desired consistency.
4-Taste and adjust sweetness or tang as desired.
5-Chill at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.
6-Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5-6 days.
