Spicy Mango Lime Salsa

INGREDIENTS:

3-4 Ripe mangoes, cubed
1 medium red bell pepper, cubed
1 small red onion, diced
1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro, chopped
2-3 large lime, juice & zest (or more to taste)
1/4-1/2 teaspoon dried jalapeño or 1 fresh jalapeño, chopped
1/2 teaspoon citrus pepper
1 avocado, chopped (optional)

Preparation:

1-Put the diced mango, red onion, red bell pepper, cilantro in a medium bowl.
2-Toss with lime juice, zest and seasoning.
3-Season to taste and stir again.
4-For best flavor, let the salsa rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes or longer. Add the avocado right before serving.

NOTE:

Feel free to substitute mango with peaches or pineapple. It’s absolutely delicious. You can find citrus pepper online, from Savory Spice.
